Training

Todays training was in school as the new sec1s are here...
We started off with a 17min warm-up round outside of school...the 3km route.
Once done, we did stretching and then some hurdle work.
We did 5sets of walking over the hurdles each leg.
Then we did sort of lunges 5sets.
Next is the two-legged jump.
We started off using 15cm then 17cm then 21cm then 24cm.
I had trouble jumping over the hurdles as i was afarid that i would fall.
The toughest of all was the 24cm jumping.
I had to pause after every hurdle then continue.
After that,we worked on how to turn corners.
We ran about 80m then u-turn back.
I didn't do quite well as it was very slippery...we did that many times then cooled down and went home. I hope that now i will be able to turn corners better so as to improve my timing.
