Today's post concerns yesterday's training.
Training was in the morning and it had just stop raining and it was pretty cold outdoors.
We ran the usual 6 rounds for warm-up then stretching.
Our schedule was 4 times of 600m and then a short run along the canal till we reach the overhead bridge then back again.The weather was very cold even when we were running.
I tried to pushed myself to go faster and here's mine timing...
1) 2.25min
2) 2.21min
3) 2.22min
4) 2.26min
The track was quite slippery but fortunately... we didn't fall down.
My legs were pretty stiff while i was doing the long run(short run should i say).
I hope to be able to increase my stamina and become a better runner.

Training
Today's training was at Monkey haven...Mac Ritchie.
As it was in the morning the 4.8km time trail's trail was quite slippery.
Not saying muddy too. By the time i finished my run...my whole shoe was
covered in mud. Mr Tay gave us each a powergel.
It was my first time tasting a powergel and i had the fortune to get chocolate flavour.
Which i totally hate. I swallowed the whole gel (with the help of a lot of water).
Mine group was to start first then after another minute another group will start.
I finished for a time of 24.28mins...better than my first trail but a lot short of my expected time.
The powergel did help me i think. I hope i can do better the next time trail...let me set a target of 23.30mins.I hope to beat that time.

Training
Today's training was at bishan stadium.
We did 6 rounds of jogging for warm-up outside the stadium.
After doing drills, We did 3 times of 1km.
Rest between intervals is 8 mins.
The approximate timing was 4.30min.
On my first run...my timing was 4.25min.
Not far off from the apx. time. I tried to improve but couldn't.
My timing for the second time was 4.33mins.
Even though it was just a few secs slower i told myself to continue and perservere.
The last set was to be done together as a group.
I started out quite slow as it was quite squeezy and i couldn't get to be in the front.
My timing was very slow.4.37mins.
Not the best but i tried.My total timing for all was 13.35mins.
If thats the pace for 4.8km...my timing at mac ritchie time trail would have been 21.36mins.
So here i am setting a target for this friday's trail.My target is 23mins.

Training
Today's training was in school at 8.30.
We did 10mins warm up,stretch and then we went out for a run.
We ran to the 'garden' and upon reaching there...
We did 40secs of striding,60secs,80secs,100secs,80secs,60secs,40secs.
After that we just ran back to school.
I find the run quite ok... i wasn't very tired.
After the run, we rested for 5 mins and continued with some exercises.
Sit-ups,Lunging(don't know whether correct spelling),step-ups and back-raiser.
2 sets of 20.The training today was quite easy. I like training at 8.30 !

This time it was a 4.3km run and my timing was 24.07 mins.
If my calculations are right...i was slower today.
The trail was very slippery and steep at parts that is why i went slow on the down slope.
The trail was full of obstacles. The mud, the wet floor and the stones and bricks.
I nearly had a fall.When we ran beside the main road...i was already quite tired.
I hope to improve my timing the next time trail.

The pace was quite fast but i managed to keep up.
After doing stretching and drills...
we did 10times of 150m and rested 5 mins then continued
with 8 more times of 150m...
The timing was supposed to be around 25secs.
My first two timings were in the range of 25secs but...
the rest i wasn't able to maintain at 25secs
Here's my timing:
1) 25.56s 10) 26.78s
2) 25.85s 11) 27.38s
3) 26.81s 12) 27.07s
4) 27.31s 13) 27.25s
5) 27.91s 14) 28.22s
6) 27.50s 15) 27.78s

Training
Sorry so long didn't post...
Today training at bishan stadium.
We ran from there to MacRitchie reservoir.
When we reach there we did 6 times of running up the slope
And it was quite tiring but we did it !!!
After that we just ran/jog back all the way.
That concludes our training.
