Today's competition was at east coast park in the afternoon.
This race is the 56th SAA road relay championships.Our route is 3km++.
I was the fourth runner and i was pretty nervous to start with.
When may passed me the wristband, i started quite fast but then paced myself a bit to make my stride consistent.There was no one to pace myself with and therefore i just have to gauge and run to catch up with grace as i knew she was in front of me.My timing till the finishing line was 13.01mins.A great improvement from my PB.But Mr. tay added 50secs to mine timing roughly for the turn around.Therefore my timing is roughly 13.51.
We won the third place and i am very happy as the first two teams were very fast.
I hope to be able to run faster next time.

Training
Today's training was at bishan as we're suppose to do time trail for 500m.
We did 500m time trail today according to our groupings for the upcoming competition.
My group consists of adel, hui xin and may.I came in last with a timing of 1mins38.40secs.
After that we did 3.3km run along the cannal from stadium to overhead bridge and back.
My timing was 16mins 57secs.Our run there,me and jedidah, was very slow as Mr.Chan called us to go easy pace but we ran faster on the way back without any pain in leg or whatever.
I felt the run quite enjoyable.I also felt that my legs can run faster without the ankle guard.I hope to run fast on saturday's race.

Training
Today's training was in school.
Teacher split us into two groups and i was in group 1.
We did slower pace as compared to the other group.We did the 3km route plus one round of the park.The big round.After coming out from the park, we were supposed to maintain the speed and let the group 2 people run full out.I think i ate too much during lunch as i could feel a little stitch.As our schedule was lighter,we had to do some jump exercises to better our leg strength.We did frog jumps on the grass patch 3 sets of 10 jumps each.Thereafter, we used the sit-up station to do jumping up and jumping down exercise.We needed to do 10 times of the whole stretch but Mr.chan called me to stop halfway!??!After that, we did on the track the side to side jump we started by doing double-legged and single-legged 50metre 2 times.
I felt that this training was quite effective in training our leg power.

Training
Today's training was in school and not many people attended as they have competition tomorrow.We did the Maris Stella route around 5._km and thereafter we did 6 Times of the slope.The slope up was really very tiring and i had to stop at four.We then proceeded to jog back to school. The run before the slope was quite fun as it was quite windy.Too windy in fact.I felt like flying off.There were no breathing difficulties and i enjoyed the run a lot.After reaching school we did stretching then went home.
